Jake Davis is a Nashville based audio engineer, producer and mixer with over a decade of multi-faceted audio experience. He’s known for working with cutting-edge experimental and ambient music, as well as honky-tonk country and art rock. Davis is head mixer at television post-audio studio Seismic Sound in addition to freelance work on records from a large variety of artists. Notably, he’s produced, recorded and mixed albums by William Tyler, Emily Nenni, Rich Ruth, Teddy and the Rough Riders, Skyway Man and many more. He’s also recorded scores for films by directors such as Paul Schrader, and worked on the immersive mix for the film Billy Joel: Live at Yankee Stadium. Jake Davis applies a unique, intuitive approach to each project with an appreciation for hi-fi, lo-fi and everything between. Experienced with digital and analog techniques from four track to Dolby Atmos, Jake adapts to meet the needs of each individual work.
